post 2, cool day out with friends (mostly)

wow on Saturday it was finally my big day out with work colleagues these ladies are great (mostly) we do not get to chat very often as work is busy. so we all met at the train station and whizzed up to London, we walked along the embankment from London bridge to the London eye and then we stopped for a late lunch at giraffe's it was delish, we treated our selves to cocktails and yumminess. i had a mellow yellow mojito wow blow your socks off yum. i then had a Malaysian coconut curry laksa with squash and pepper, loverly. then managed to cram in a portion of banana waffle split but i just couldn't manage to finish it. :-(
it came to just over £20 each which i thought very reasonable.
we then traveled up to covent gardan and spent a lovely hour wandering around. before it was time for the main event ..... we saw the merry wives of Windsor at the globe theatre. it was spectacular, the building is incongruous but delightful the inside is fab and the performance was hilarious. we all had a ball, and i managed to avoid spending more than two mins alone with colleague B i arrived home at approx 1am.
